Relaxation Rewarded

Well I have finished summer school and hope all my fellow learners enjoy a well- deserved break before we get back to the school year and the pressures that come with it. I can't wait to get up to the camper. It is located on the Upper Humber River and is a great place if you like fishing, (I prefer a good book and a cool drink!) or just like to enjoy the view. (I posted another blog with a pic but couldn't figure out how to put it on this one, I'd apprciate help, Anyone!) Congratulations to my collegues who move up a step with the completion of our institute and I wish you a great couple of summer weeks.

Life in the bay

Many Newfoundlanders rave about their island home and rightly so, but the Bay has to be the best part of the Island. No matter which one you call home, (mine is White Bay) the experience of living in such picturesque and tranquil surroundings is worth more than any time spent in city pursuits!! Where else can you call ALL of your neighbours by name, leave your doors unlocked and watch the whales frolic from your patio deck? Give me the Bay and you give me peace of mind, life-time friendships and spectacular visual stimulation. What else do you need?!
